Honouring your word to yourself

You honour your word to your job, your business, your clients, your children, your partner, your friends, and your family.

So the question is – How often to you honour your word to yourself?

How can you honour your word to yourself as a priority

This might look like finishing work on time instead of staying late with unpaid overtime, agai

Maybe it’s going to that yoga class that you’ve really been wanting to go to, because you know how much benefit you will gain from it, rather than going to a catch up or event that you know won’t actually serve you.

Perhaps it’s prioritising planning nutritious meals and keeping healthy food in your home, and actually doing it! Rather than relying on processed foods or takeaway, where you don’t really know where the food has come from or the energetic vibration it has been imprinted with.

It just might be enforcing those loving boundaries with family, friends, clients and colleagues, instead of just being somebody else’s soundboard when you don’t have the capacity to hold it.

This could look a myriad of ways for you, but at its essence this is a practice of you prioritising and honouring your word to yourself, just as much as, or even more so than you do to others.

This is a sacred act of self-nurturance and self-respect. And the more you practice this, the more you will gain confidence in yourself for honouring yourself just as much as you do others.

You will know that you’re not going to bail on yourself anymore, but rather show up for yourself each and every day.

And that is something to celebrate!
