A reconnection to nature and to yourself

I believe that when it comes down to it, all disease, fear, anxiety, depression, struggle, challenge, is a disconnection with nature, with mother earth, and ultimately with your true self.

We need to bring it back to basics, back to nature. It is not hard, but it is a challenge that so many of us face.
There is so much unnecessary struggle and suffering because of this disconnect from nature and from our true essence.

We need to reintroduce natural practices.

Ways of being that are encoded into our cells.

A remembering.

A reconnection.

A re-emerging of our true selves.

Some of the ways that might feel good for you to do that might be —

•Knowing where your food comes from, growing as much of your own food as you can that is within your means right now. Eliminate all refined and processed foods.

•Syncing with the natural rhythms of the earth.

•Upon waking, go outside, put your feet on the earth, turn towards the sun and allow the sunlight to kiss your face.

•Natural movement practices that only require your own body

•Energy connection and cultivation eg yoga, qi gong, breathwork

•Connect with the natural rhythm of your breath, breathe deeply, breath properly.

•Connect with and discover the quality of your water. Filter the chemicals out of your water and charge it with energetic frequencies and minerals.

•Take time for self reflection at least once a day

•Create a natural medicine cabinet - utilising herbs, spices and foods as medicine

•Lower your stress levels - nothing is as important as our mind likes to tell us

•Nourish your nervous system however feels good for you eg. yin/restorative yoga, breathwork, being in nature

•Stop cramming so much stuff into your days and life in general. We aren’t meant to operate like that. Create more time for play, rest and presence.

•Women - honour your cycle and formulate your life around this - we aren’t meant to be “on” throughout the entire month. Respect yourself enough to honour your cycle deeply.
•Monitor use of technology - it is very new in terms of how long humans have been around and we are not sure how it is going to impact our health and nervous system.

•Cultivate a deep reverence of the land / Mother earth / nature

•Cultivate sacred rituals to honour yourself and the unseen realms

•Cultivate community and connection

When it comes down to it, this is all that really matters 🤍
